A powerful hybrid of Pilates, kickboxing and dance, Piloxing, is the new high intensity workout that has women flocking to classes to get in shape fast for the summer.
K Fit, the gym within K West Hotel & Spa in Shepherds Bush, has launched Piloxing classes every Thursday from 6pm until 7pm. The class is priced at £5 for hotel guests and £10 for non-guests.
Juliana Bona, the fitness instructor at K Fit says: ‘After completing the Piloxing Instructor training I can feel and see how much it has improve my fitness level – I just Love the entire program!

In addition to Pilates and Boxing movements, the exercise incorporates the use of weighted gloves, which add to the workout by toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health.
