Champagne corks are popping at Bohemia Restaurant today (25 September 2014), after hearing the news that it has retained its coveted Michelin star for the tenth year.
The celebratory vibe at the hotel is even greater as this announcement comes days after the restaurant was awarded 4AA Rosettes, and a top score in the Good Food Guide 2015.
Head Chef Steve Smith was one of the youngest chefs in the country to achieve a Michelin star 10 years ago, at the age of just 24.
Steve said: “We are delighted that our passion and commitment for offering the highest quality cuisine has once again been recognised. Our whole kitchen brigade has worked day and night over the past year to retain this accolade and I am overjoyed at Michelin’s decision.”
He continued: “To have secured our prestigious Michelin star in the same week that we heard the news about being awarded our 4AA Rosettes is absolutely fantastic.”
Steve Smith has created a truly outstanding dining experience with his ingredient and flavour driven tasting menus. Bohemia Bar & Restaurant boasts a stellar reputation for its first rate cuisine, placing it firmly on the gastronomic map as a food-lover’s destination. Situated on the ground floor of The Club Hotel & Spa, Bohemia has been Jersey’s finest dining establishment since opening its doors in April 2004.
