A night at the opera anyone? London’s largest Asian food hall Bang Bang Oriental in Colindale is hosting an evening of traditional Chinese opera on Friday 7 September 2018.
The Peking Opera Show will consist of two renowned Chinese operas, from 7pm until 8pm. The first show, Palace of Eternal Youth tells the love story between The Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and Yang Guifei. This classic Chinese opera was first performed in 1688 and was praised for its poetic lyrics and cultivating melodies.
The second show Youlong Xifen is another love story between an emperor of the Ming Dynasty and an ordinary waitress named Li Feng. The story follows the emperor who visits a wine shop disguised as a commoner to pursue Li.
Bang Bang Oriental is an eco-friendly venue bringing pan-Asian cuisine and cultural entertainment to London. Bang Bang Oriental encompasses a food court, restaurant, and community space - all under one roof.

The venue is open Monday to Thursday from Noon until 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11.30am until 10.30pm and Sunday from 11.30am until 9.30pm. Three hours of free parking is available.
